North West Series Tournaments Return to Parrs Wood
Get ready, because the softball tournament action’s not just at Farnham this summer.
Manchester Softball League is happy to announce the re-introduction of our annual one-day North West Series of softball tournaments. We’re bringing competitive and fun-filled one day Saturday tournament play back to the diamonds of Manchester.
Whether you’re a rec-level team looking to dominate the competition, or a group of friends eager to experience the joys of slowpitch softball, it’s our pleasure to invite you to NWS. The popularity of the original North West Series has never really gone away. Now, it’s back at Parrs Wood.

All the action will unfold at Parrs Wood High School in East Didsbury across May, June and July 2026. We’ll have three fields in operation, ensuring a smooth and exciting day of softball for all participants and spectators. Expect a day packed with thrilling plays, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow softball lovers.
We’re planning three exciting tournament dates, all taking place on Saturdays: 16 May, 20 June, and 25 July. Each tournament will feature eight teams battling it out for bragging rights and the glory of victory. These dates coincide with the monthly NSL series in Farnham. So this is a great opportunity to give rec and upper rec level teams a day of competition.
Our ambition is to foster a fantastic community atmosphere, and the tentative plan is for the same eight teams to compete across all three dates. Under this arrangement, it would culminate in the final July tournament, where a single overall series champion will be crowned! Of course, we understand things can change, and we’ll adapt our plans to ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved.
