For Divisions 1 & 2.

Please note: in 2026 there will be redevelopment work affecting the pavilion and access to the field immediately in front of the building.

There will be no access to the building/changing rooms; a portable toilet will be available.

Information about routes to fields A, B and H will be sent to captains via WhatsApp when applicable.

Public transport

Nearest Metrolink station: Northern Moor is ten minutes walk from the ground. Take the footbridge from Fellpark Road over the motorway.

Parking: There is ample parking space at Wythenshawe Sports Ground.

Parrs Wood High School

For Division 3.

Parrs Wood High School Wilmslow Rd, Manchester M20 5PG

Our venue for Tuesday evening softball is Parrs Wood High School’s sports fields.

This contains our “show pitch” (Pitch 7), which has backstop fencing and a field partially enclosed by trees.

In 2025, MSL and Sport England funded two artificial batters boxes on Pitches 6 and 7. These permanent additions are designed to avoid problems with extreme wear that we used to experience in the boxes at Parrs Wood, which were especially acute on these fields.

Parking: There is limited parking at Parrs Wood High School and its sports centre. As of May 2026, the Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre has new parking restrictions with camera-based enforcement, meaning you may need to pay for parking: please refer to signs. We kindly ask you to respect our neighbours when parking in residential areas.
