End of Season Captains Meeting & AGM – 18 Sept
Details for Manchester Softball League’s 2017 End-of-Season Captains Meeting and AGM have been announced, as follows:
- Date: Monday 18 September
- Time: 7.30pm (prompt)
- Venue: Cringlewood Club, Yew Tree Lane, Wythenshawe, M23 0DN.
All players are welcome. Each team that is represented has one vote. No postal votes or proxies, but ANYONE can represent ANY team by prior arrangement as long as they are present.
Agenda will be sent out after the MSL Exec meeting on September 4th.
Rookie of the Year Voting
If you have a nomination for Rookie of the Year, please send to secretary@manchester-softball.co.uk BEFORE 4 September 2017.
The nominations will be discussed at the Exec meeting, so any that arrive after that date will not be considered. Please write a brief paragraph explaining why you think the person deserves this award. As a hint, we tend to favour new players who not only show skill but also commitment to your team, organising, scoring, coaching, umpiring … not just batting and fielding well – those skills are rewarded in other ways.
